A man is accused of holding his wife and kids captive
A man from northeast Georgia was charged with holding his wife and four children captive for three years inside their home.
Lavonia Police Chief Bruce Carlisle says 36-year-old Raymond Daniel Thurmond got arrested Tuesday when he came at work. He has been charged of: rape, child abuse and false imprisonment.

Fencing school takes gold in the Beijing Olympics
One school took more medals than any other so far in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It was not the University of Oregon or Oregon State or Portland State, but members from the Oregon Fencing Alliance have already took two medals.
Mariel Zagunis and Rebecca Ward won gold and bronze, and both of them honed their skills under the tutelage of head coach and fencing master Ed Korfanty.
While Olympic hopefuls have walked through the doors, beginner courses are also offered, including introduction to fencing classes.

Neighbors had no ideea anyone lived in that single-wide trailer. Carlisle says that the FBI agencts found no food in the home.
He says the family was foubd when the woman was finally able to leave the trailer and call for help.
He does not have an attorney and he is awaiting a bond hearing in his case.
