Fencing school takes gold in the Beijing Olympics

One school took more medals than any other so far in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It was not the University of Oregon or Oregon State or Portland State, but members from the Oregon Fencing Alliance have already took two medals.

Mariel Zagunis and Rebecca Ward won gold and bronze, and both of them honed their skills under the tutelage of head coach and fencing master Ed Korfanty.

While Olympic hopefuls have walked through the doors, beginner courses are also offered, including introduction to fencing classes.
